Cindy is passionate about helping companies identify process improvements, implement quality management practices, and align staff with senior management initiatives through her down to earth, roll your sleeves up, empowering and partnership approach.
Cindy’s introduction to quality and process improvements, was to obtain Boeing Supplier Approval for an Aerospace/Automotive Laboratory 43 years ago. She was the first woman to work in the field beginning in 1976 and helped to establish testing protocols for companies such as General Motors, Honda, 3M Company and American Racing. This propelled her into the broader process improvement and quality systems area working with companies like Lisi Aerospace, Triumph Group, Sunvair, Lufthansa, Bodycote and more. During this time Cindy specialized in ensuring companies received and maintained accreditation such as ISO 9001, AS9100 and Nadcap. Cindy supported companies with overall operational excellence, process improvement and quality assurance programs to meet the standards for; Boeing, Northrop, Textron, UTC, Aerojet, Lockheed, Gulf Stream, Cessna, Ford, Rolls Royce and the list goes on…
Today, Cindy applies her Six Sigma Lean Operation Methods and broad experience to support leaders in finding their freedom through solutions to common problems all companies face. She challenges old beliefs and guides leaders in creating a culture of:
- Adherence to policies and procedures
- Employee awareness
- Compliance with Regulatory Standards
- Total Quality Management (TQM) and accreditation
- Measuring and Monitoring Process Control and Operations
- Change management
Cindy uses Six Sigma Lean Operation Methods to;

- Managing change to streamline operations for better performance, reduced cost, accelerate schedules and increase profits
- Coordinating efforts to remove breakdowns such as; process redundancies, customer and employee hassles, bottlenecks that waste money and time
- Improve internal and external communication for smoother transition
- Assure that each step is well-tested, and the process changes are effective and working efficiently to experience fewer errors, delays, duplication, disgruntled team members and dissatisfied customers
“Cindy, it was a pleasure to know you and to experience first- hand your vast Nadcap experience. Your “down to the ground” and practical approach took us from procedural to realistic and help us break away from any worries during our preparation for our first time CP audit.” – A.E.S., SPI QA Manager
“I originally hired Cindy Klingler to help me revise our company FAA and Quality Manuals, (the final outcome was a complete FAA / AS9100 combine documentation package that was called “explosive” by an FAA Auditor). We have continued to work together for nearly three years, the changes go beyond compliance; there is a practicality to her methods that results in useful, easy to implement procedures. Her knowledge and expertise in the quality world is simply the best and I highly recommend her!” – D.R., Quality Manager
“I would like to take an opportunity to offer a formal recommendation of services provided by The GWQ owned and operated by Cindy Klingler. Cindy started her career in the late 1970’s working at AnaCon Laboratories’, Inc. She effectively implemented operational and Administrative procedures, and all technical/quality documentation required at that time by military, aerospace and aircraft companies. She was instrumental in obtaining our Boeing approval and later in creating and implementing our Quality System which lead to our NADCAP accreditation.
Cindy was instrumental in upgrading our Quality System to meet the current Aerospace Standards. Thanks to her assistance AnaCon Laboratories, Inc. dba 1st Choice Consulting is again Nadcap Accredited and AS 9100 compliant.
Cindy is very knowledgeable with regard to Aerospace Level Quality System Requirements. She specializes in practical quality applications designed to bring Metal Finishing Companies (Chemical Processors) into full compliance. Cindy also has firsthand experience of the fundamentals of a Chemical Processing Laboratory and the quality systems required to maintain good analytical control.
I would recommend Cindy Klingler to any company in need of improving their quality system and/or efforts in obtaining Prime Contractor Approval (i.e. Boeing), ISO, AS or NADCAP accreditation.” – B.K., President and Owner.
We first came to know Cindy Klingler while she was the Quality Manager for AnaCon Laboratories, Inc. We chose their service based on the Nadcap accreditation. We had a long running business relationship with Cindy and the lab.
We again contacted Cindy when we were pursuing our own Nadcap accreditation program. She had become an independent quality consultant, assisting the Metal Finishing Industry to meet varied quality requirements; including Nadcap.
Cindy joined our quality team that lacked experience in aerospace and defense industry requirements. She started with the most basic tenets of the Nadcap system and guided us through the maze of paperwork, changes needed in the quality system, testing and data recordings at each step of the process. Needless to say, it took lot of patience on her part but she persevered and we were able to obtain Nadcap Accreditation for our Aerospace Quality System in accordance with AC7004 and eleven special processes in accordance with AC7108 Chemical Processing.
We sincerely believe that, without Cindy’s knowledge, tenacity and patience, we would not have been able to achieve this accreditation in a timely manner.
We highly recommend her for any quality related programs.” – N.S., President
